VIDEO

I've chatted with opera singers, recorded live music performances at historic Macon theaters, and created social videos that break down the facts.  I also frequently work with Georgia Public Broadcasting on the Macon Conversations series. More of those videos can be found here.

Teenaged Opera Singer Leah Duval

How many sixteen year old opera singers do you know? Well, add Leah Duval to the list. Hear some of her story in this video. I ran both audio and video on this piece and edited it.

Macon Conversations: Episode One

In this Macon Conversation, Dominique Johnson, pastor of a majority black church he calls "Bapticostal", and Jake Hall, pastor of a majority white church he calls "Baptipalian", talk about issues of race from the vantage points of their respective pulpits. Macon Conversations is a GPB produced series that sits strangers down for an hour long conversation on race.  I assisted with cameras for this episode.

On Second Thought Live: Cedric Burnside Project

The Cedric Burnside Project performed during a live broadcast of GPB's On Second Thought at the Douglass Theatre in Macon. I assisted with cameras during this special event.

Macon: Then And Now

According to their site, NewTown planned to increase storefront occupancy by 25 percent by 2017. As of March 2016, the level of storefront occupancy sat at a 17 percent increase, with high hopes of meeting expectations by 2017. This is a social video I created as a sophomore. It's part of the Let's Get Civic-al project, where CCJ students dive into what interests or concerns the Macon community.

GPB Music Presents: ATRIA

Postrock? Indie Folk? Whatever you call it, SaVana Cameron's aim for the music she performs under the name ATRIA is a sense of space. The Macon, Ga. singer/songwriter creates that space through a panoply of guitar sounds and with her warm and technically precise voice. I assisted with audio and video for this project.
